Anne Hathaway sarà Selina Kyle e il suo alter-ego Catwoman nel terzo film di Christopher Nolan su Batman. La pellicola, dal titolo The Dark Knight rises, uscirà nel 2012 e segue Batman begins del 2005 e Il cavaliere oscuro del 2008, per il quale Heath Ledger ottenne un Oscar postumo come miglior attore. L'attore inglese Tom Hardy sarà invece villain Bane. La Hathaway, 28 anni, candidata all'Oscar nel 2009 per Rachel sta per sposarsi, presenterà il prossimo 27 febbraio la cerimonia degli Oscar all'Academy Awards insieme con il collega James Franco.
