The Irishman, l’ultima opera di Martin Scorsese prodotta da Netflix, ha vinto il National Board of Review come miglior film dell’anno. Il gangster movie interpretato da Robert De Niro, Al Pacino e Joe Pesci si è aggiudicato anche il riconoscimento alla sceneggiatura scritta da Steven Zaillan. Ottimo risultato per C’era una volta a…Hollywood di Quentin Tarantino: miglior regia e attore non protagonista (Brad Pitt). I premi per le interpretazioni sono andati rispettivamente ad Adam Sandler (Uncut Gems) e Renée Zellweger (Judy).
